Yoga Teacher
Katy Gennaro

You can find me teaching weekly classes at The Plants Kitchen in Sugar Loaf, NY—part of a growing wellness center where movement, nourishment, and community meet. We’re building something special here, and I’d love for you to be part of it. Join me for mindful yoga practices designed to support your body, calm your mind, and deepen your connection to self.

About Deep Stretch + Yin Flow
These two classes are rooted in the principles of Yin Yoga—long-held, passive poses designed to target the connective tissues, calm the nervous system, and invite deep inner stillness. I didn’t invent this style, but it has become a personal refuge for me—a way to manage stress, regulate sleep, and reconnect to myself when life feels overwhelming. In a world that often moves too fast and asks too much, I find more people are seeking what Yin has to offer: space, quiet, and the permission to slow down. That’s exactly what we try to hold space for in each class.

In addition to weekly classes
I also sub and lead monthly workshops at other local community hubs, including Christ’s Church and Saltara in Warwick. Whether you’re just beginning or deepening your practice, there’s always a space for you to land.
“I stumbled into one of Katy’s yoga classes a couple years ago and it changed my life. She is so dedicated to everything she does and puts her whole heart into all of her work, including web designs. She made me fall in love with yoga and taught me so much about meditation and mindfulness. I always felt comfortable in her class.“
