REGIVE

This art collection is inspired by the mosaics and stained glass windows I’ve admired in churches along the East Coast. I love how light hits tile and glass, showing the artist’s devotion, piece by piece. In my work, I use window-like arches and bold, flowing lines to echo that stained glass effect. It’s my way of bringing together fragments of color and shape, making them into something whole and beautiful again.

I make art to keep my creative spirit alive. This helps me to better serve you! When I stay open and fluid, I find that I can listen more intuitively, remain present and grounded. It also keeps me tapped into the emotions and shifts of the collective. More than not, these insights connect me deeper to my clients, aiding them as they evolve creatively along their own path.

Gunks Gaming Guild Cafe

“After the trials and tribulations of this pandemic, we thought, what better way to bring people together than through the magic of games? This is what truly inspired our desire to open a board gaming cafe. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space for all individuals. We are hopeful that this immersive experience will not only promote communication and acceptance, but a sense of community.” – Robert Gamble, Owner

LOAM

LOAM, founded by Jenifer Patrick-Silverman, stands for love of a mother and offers luxurious, eco-friendly clothing for breastfeeding women. As a mother who struggled to find suitable clothing, Jenifer aimed to create designer pieces that cater to a mother’s lifestyle. The brand name ‘LOAM,’ meaning fertile soil, reflects the company’s mission to help women connect with their innate wisdom and inner power while fostering a sense of community.

Katy is absolutely the most MARVELOUS human and designer!! Her brilliant and compassionate and patient and creative heart and self and talent are all part of every moment she has dedicated to birthing Receptive Giving. She has helped me both create and manifest my concept for a website / blog along with designing a logo.

– MG Bulla, Founder of Transcending Pedagogy

If there were more stars I would give them! Working with Katy has been vital for me in starting a new business. She is extremely talented and was able to take an overall concept of what I was looking for and bring it to life through a hand drawn logo, font curation and overall marketing concept. She is extremely professional and always responds promptly. I am planning to work with her more in the future for designing my website and on any other marketing venture! SHE’S THE BEST!

Katy Gennaro

Founder | Artist | Creative Director

Katy is a Warwick, New York–based graphic artist, illustrator, and yoga teacher whose work explores themes of healing, spirituality, and the quiet wisdom found through introspection. Her creative practice blends traditional drawing with digital illustration, often incorporating fluid linework, geometric structures, and architectural motifs inspired by church archways and mosaic windows. Through her artwork, Katy aims to offer gentle reminders to slow down, return to the sacred, and reconnect with one’s center.

Katy’s artistic path began early. As an art major at Monroe-Woodbury High School and a member of the National Art Honor Society, she developed a strong foundation that led to her acceptance into Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where she studied illustration and graphic design. While in college, she discovered yoga and meditation, which opened a deeper exploration into mental health, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy.

Following a pivotal period of personal growth, Katy chose to step away from school to focus on her wellbeing and pursue yoga more deeply. In 2016, she completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and founded Receptive Giving LLC, a creative and wellness-centered platform that became the home for her work in art, yoga, and design.

Over the past decade, Katy has taught yoga, managed studios, and led classes, workshops, and figure drawing gatherings designed to merge mindfulness with creative expression. She is currently completing her 300-hour teacher training along with additional studies with respected teachers including Abbie Galvin, Elena Brower, and Sarah Powers. Today, she teaches weekly and hosts monthly in-person workshops at Saltara Healing in Warwick, NY.

Katy has exhibited her artwork locally, including presentations at the Nyack Art Walk in 2017 and 2018 and at Playa Gallery on Railroad Avenue in Warwick (now Eight x Sand). During this time, she created a series of self-portraits combining illustration, graphite drawing, and graphic elements.

After a quiet period during the COVID years devoted to refining her artistic voice, Katy reemerged in 2021 with a small exhibition held in her studio space above Frazzleberries in Warwick. Since then, she has continued to develop a visual language characterized by whimsical yet intentional compositions, balancing organic linework with geometric structure.

Yoga remains a central influence in her work. Her illustrations often carry themes of emotional growth, spiritual reflection, and personal transformation—visual meditations that encourage viewers to pause and reconnect with themselves.

Katy’s current process often begins with raw sketches in a notebook before evolving digitally in Procreate, where she combines illustration with typography. This hybrid approach reflects her background in graphic design while allowing space for expressive drawing. Looking ahead, she plans to expand into larger-scale graphite works and custom pieces.

She is currently writing a novella about the tumultuous period of spiritual awakening and mental health challenges she experienced toward the end of her college career—an experience that ultimately shaped her dedication to both art and yoga.

Now at age thirty, Katy is intentionally returning to building her career as an exhibiting artist while continuing her work in design and teaching. She plans to participate in local markets, pursue artist residencies and fellowships, and deepen her presence within the creative community of her hometown.
