Transcending Pedagogy is an online blog by NY English teacher & HS Dept Chair, Michelle Bulla. She is truly a thought-leader in her industry, sharing her knowledge and lived experience of teaching, writing, and literature. She is a traveler, yogi, reader, and writer, offering 1-on-1 guidance to teachers developing their curriculum and updating their teaching styles.

Rachel Ackley

Rachel Ackley, a fashion designer, is also a Yoga and Breathwork Instructor, with advanced trainings in reiki, cacao medicine, physioyoga, restorative yoga and health coaching. As a teacher, she offers students classes with the intention of helping others to gain self-awareness and also to give them the tools to connect to their highest and most authentic self. Jody Weatherstone

Jody trained and worked as both a singer and actress, touring nationally and internationally. Her versatility and flexibility have led her to perform in a wide range of genres, from musical theater to oratorio, singing music by composers from Bach, Handel, and Faure, to Barber, Gershwin, and Sondheim. Jody’s vibrant and refined soprano has been reviewed with enthusiasm throughout the New York region. She has also maintained a private voice teaching studio for the past 22 years helping vocalists of all ages fulfill their personal singing goals.

SRNDR Skincare

Alexandria approached Receptive Giving for a unique logo design for her new skincare line, SRNDR. Inspired by her love for Southern California, Rihanna, 70’s pop culture, and yoga, she aimed to create a distinctive brand. Alexandria sought to differentiate SRNDR from typical modern skincare brands with a vibrant, edgy aesthetic.

Laura the Explorer

For this travel brand rooted in curiosity and empowerment, I created a visual identity that speaks to modern women with a spirit for adventure. The project included a custom primary logo, sub-mark, horizontal variations, and a brand color palette inspired by Fora’s earthy tones. Clean yet expressive line work paired with thoughtfully selected typography brought Laura’s vision to life across digital and print platforms. The final assets were delivered in an organized Canva Brand Kit for easy content creation and long-term brand consistency.

Sunstone sanctuary

SUNSTONE is a wellness sanctuary located in the Hudson Valley, offering a serene environment for deep mind, body, and soul connection. The sanctuary provides various services, including crystals and wellness retail, massage, body work, infrared sauna therapy, PEMF sessions, energy healing, Ayurveda, and sound therapy. Additionally, SUNSTONE hosts a full schedule of workshops and events to enhance overall well-being.
