Loam | 2021-2023

LOAM, founded by Jenifer Patrick-Silverman, stands for love of a mother and offers luxurious, eco-friendly clothing for breastfeeding women. As a mother who struggled to find suitable clothing, Jenifer aimed to create designer pieces that cater to a mother’s lifestyle. The brand name ‘LOAM,’ meaning fertile soil, reflects the company’s mission to help women connect with their innate wisdom and inner power while fostering a sense of community.

Hatfield Solutions | 2023

Hatfield Solutions LLC is dedicated to offering expert Amazon vendor management and search engine optimization services to boost client sales and product visibility to Amazon’s 197 million customers. As a family-owned business, they resonate with the willow tree’s symbolism of flexibility, resiliency, and branching out. Reflecting these qualities, they are expanding their range of services to support their ongoing growth.

Gunks Gaming Cafe | 2022

“After the trials and tribulations of this pandemic, we thought, what better way to bring people together than through the magic of games? This is what truly inspired our desire to open a board gaming cafe. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space for all individuals. We are hopeful that this immersive experience will not only promote communication and acceptance, but a sense of community.” 

SUNSTONE | 2023

SUNSTONE is a wellness sanctuary located in the Hudson Valley, offering a serene environment for deep mind, body, and soul connection. The sanctuary provides various services, including crystals and wellness retail, massage, body work, infrared sauna therapy, PEMF sessions, energy healing, Ayurveda, and sound therapy. Additionally, SUNSTONE hosts a full schedule of workshops and events to enhance overall well-being.

SRNDR | 2021-2022

Alexandria approached Receptive Giving for a unique logo design for her new skincare line, SRNDR. Inspired by her love for Southern California, Rihanna, 70’s pop culture, and yoga, she aimed to create a distinctive brand. Alexandria sought to differentiate SRNDR from typical modern skincare brands with a vibrant, edgy aesthetic.

Hudson Suraya | 2021

Hudson Suraya is an independent yoga studio located in the heart of the Hudson Valley. A community hub which offers a range of in-person & online studio classes. Their mission is to elevate and inspire a community and fellow teachers. Check out their space or sign up to be apart of their online collective.

Robert Alexander | 2020

Robert Alexander is a Hudson Valley based videographer and photographer. He is a jack of all trades whose new found love is making coffee. Rob has worked in the restaurant business for years, and is now pursuing his dream of creating a new and inviting experience for individuals who love both coffee and games through his New Paltz based cafe, Gunks Gaming Guild Cafe (logo design above).

Jody Weatherstone | 2024

Jody Weatherstone, a vocal and breathwork coach, sought logo design and branding services from Receptive Giving. She envisioned incorporating the bullfrog into her logo to symbolize the spiritual and mystical qualities related to vibration and sound, which are central to her work. Jody offers vocal lessons, breathwork workshops, ecstatic dance, and more in the Hudson Valley.

Transcending Pedagogy | 2021

Transcending Pedagogy is an online blog by NY English teacher & HS Dept Chair, Michelle Bulla. She is truly a thought-leader in her industry, sharing her knowledge and lived experience of teaching, writing, and literature. She is a traveler, yogi, reader, and writer, offering 1-on-1 guidance to teachers developing their curriculum and updating their teaching styles. 

GBK | 2020

Anishka, founder of GBK, coined the term ‘Knature’ to describe an innate connection to the natural world. Her journey into jewelry design began with repurposing her own pieces, leading to the launch of Gypsy by Knature, a brand featuring repurposed designer vintage jewelry and Indian and Asian adornments. Anishka now custom designs and manufactures unique pieces, blending unexpected elements for a bold and unconventional approach to jewelry, fashion, beauty, and interiors.

Strawberry Blonde Bakeshop | 2023-2024

Katie McCallister is launching her own bakeshop in the Hudson Valley, NY, distinguished by its focus on breakfast delights and the incorporation of fruits and herbs from her garden. Her offerings will emphasize pastries and pies rather than the typical cupcakes and cookies. The logo design reflects this unique positioning, showcasing her commitment to fresh, garden-inspired ingredients.

Craig West | 2020

Craig West Designs produces high-quality, handcrafted furniture. Their custom pieces are built with intention and made to last for generations. They provide a selection of sustainably sourced solid wood pieces for classic and contemporary styles. The Craig West Designs team is exceptionally innovative and willing to take on new challenges. They’re most recent work involves epoxy river tables, coasters and cutting boards; as well as, incoporating lighting into their custom shelves and various pieces. 

Rachel Ackley | 2019-2021

Rachel Ackley founded, mindful clothing brand, The Healer Collection. She believes in creativity, connection, freedom, simplicity, giving back and supporting entrepreneurs. We collaborated on a design that would resememble, and feel in relation too, The Healer Collection logo. Sticking with a similar color pallete and font selection, we combined the ‘R’ and ‘A’ of her initials; much like the ‘H’ and ‘C’ of her clothing line. Suddenly, the design was born and took on a life of its own. 

Valley Trends | 2021

A standout project includes the logo and branding for Valley Trends, a charming local shop in Vernon, NJ. Valley Trends embodies the essence of small-town charm, offering comfortable clothing for men and women, delightful holiday gifts, and stylish home decor. The logo captures the beauty of the Hudson Valley with its mountains, reflecting the store’s unique personal touch and community-focused spirit, making it a beloved destination for locals.

Lykos & Light | 2023

Branding for Lykos & Light, the business of solo entrepreneur and reiki healer Denyse Forbes. The logo beautifully represents Denyse’s Greek heritage with a depiction of a wolf (Lykos in Greek), while the light symbolizes her reiki training and practice. Including a portrait of Denyse, the logo also captures her serene and calming nature, perfectly aligning with the essence of her healing practice.
